About the Event
Lewis is a contemporary folk artist from Cork who has been captivating audiences with her beautiful voice that “Melts the Hearts of Angels” according to Folk Radio UK. She is sharing her stunning new album HOME tonight in a special fundraiser for Cill Rialaig in which 50% of ticket sales will go to support future artist residencies. She wrote some of this album whilst on residency at Cill Rialaig.
With a fearless and disarming honesty in her lyrics, Lewis works with an uncomplicated loveliness of sound blending original compositions with fresh interpretations of traditional songs.
