An Introduction To Blues Dancing - Part III

• We will explore foundational aspects of partner dancing, focusing on technique, flow, authenticity, feeling, connection, aspects of pure movement and learn some moves. The approach I take to teaching Blues is about exploring and connecting to the feeling, the impulse behind the movement, your breathe, bringing all of yourself to the dance and the inter-relatedness with your partner. I don't just teach you a loads of steps where you DO THE MOVES. I share tools and techniques to have a more authentic, present, connected dance. And this can positively impact all of your dancing whether it be Lindy, disco, blues or bal.

• We will close with 30min space for social dancing to bed in what you have learnt.
