Blues dance classes with Lewis at the Cricket Club, Cork. Part 4 of 4

Learn tips, tools & techniques to give you the confidence to get up and dance to a blues song. We will explore foundational aspects of partner dancing, look at rhythm, musicality, the historic roots of Blues and get you connected to your breathe, your feeling body, your partner and the music. My intention is to support you to cultivate a more authentic connection within your blues dance which can positively impact all of your dancing and your whole life.

In the Winter Blues we will explore close embrace, musicality, different rhythms, revise basic turns and look at followers autonomy. Open to anyone who attended my classes before & for those with some Blues experience.

Since 2012 I have facilitated embodied movement & authentic expression in the body and voice for performers, dancers for individuals and companies including The British Council, 1927 and Dartington Summer School; For children and young adults with YMT UK, British Ballet Organisation and The Theatre Workshop Brighton and for the elderly and infirm with Arts For Health.
