In 2018 Lewis joined The Song Collectors Collective lead by Sam Lee, and she  s from Hugh Doyle

Hugh Doyle was born in 1937 in Kinnetty, Co. Offaly and has travelled throughout his life. He remembers spending time on the road learning the old songs from his uncles, singing around the campfire. Hugh now lives in Co. Offaly and is father to 14 children.

Hugh met with the song collectors in early 2018 with his sons John and Charlie Doyle at their home where he shared a wide range of songs whilst sat next to a beautiful caravan he had recently built. It was the first time he had sung in years. Hugh reminisced about his step-uncle, Michael Hutchinson who taught him many of the songs. Hugh talked of the singers in his family, including his wife, Maggie Doyle.
